Dr. Maouyo’s talk, “Some Endotoxins Are Not Like the Others: Using the MAT to Accurately Determine Pyrogenicity,” will focus on the importance of the Monocyte Activation Test (MAT) as a superior tool for detecting harmful pyrogens. The MAT provides a more precise and ethical alternative to traditional animal-based endotoxin tests, ensuring safer drugs and medical devices for patients worldwide.
